Join us for the launch of Raisa Bosich’s « String Figures »—an artist book presentation inspired by one of humanity’s most ancient cultural practices. String figures, often regarded in anthropology as a universal game, have been practiced across diverse cultures worldwide, fueling 20th-century ideas of universal cultural comparison. With a particular focus on the transcultural game known in English as « Cat’s Cradle, » this book offers a visual journey through the intricate and symbolic act of weaving.

The event will include an interactive session where participants will engage with the material, transforming the abstract forms and stories of the string into tangible experiences. Together, we will explore how these playful acts bridge cultural boundaries and connect tradition, art, and the narratives that unite us.
